It's hard to say I'll find a way in which I'll overcome,
I'll punch and kick and fight along until the day I've won,
Deep inside the thought lies dormant,
What if I can't do this?,
Cradled arms and loving charms will result in a miss,
I've seen it all come crashing down before my eyes,
And gaze upon the reason why for all that I despise,
Ripped of all but flesh and bone the will cannot remain,
Torn off at the seams between the suffering and the pain,

Within the intricate machine of perfection,
Inside the organic box lies natural destruction,

It holds no reason or purpose, but what it wants is obvious,
Expose the invisible attacking the subconscious,

I've fought so much back and forth I know I don't deserve this,
It's taken on the form of what it knows I can't dismiss,
For all my sins and all I've done, It's gaining from behind,
There's nowhere left for me to run, there's nowhere it won't find,

The beast I know too well needs no introduction,


Sitting there with head in hands it's just me and the dread,
Trapped inside the cranium hanging by a thread,

I've never known just who I owe for putting me in despair,

The beast in me you cannot see is riddled with the need,
To pull apart the head and heart until resolve concedes,
